Author Bob Keppel has helped launch 100s of successful junk hauling businesses with his startup system, “The Junk Hauling Blueprint.” Why does it work? Instead of waiting patiently for their business to grow by “word of mouth,” his customers grow their service by blanketing their city with targeted Internet marketing.

Word of mouth won’t sustain your business. You need something…MORE.

In 2011 and beyond, junk haulers that successfully promote themselves online will prosper. Those that don’t…eat shit. If you’re not confident with this stuff, invest in “The Junk Hauling Blueprint” and Bob will walk you through, in easy-to-follow terms, how to set up an online campaign that will have your phone ringing and your inbox full of people demanding your hauling services.

From our Customers:

Q: Got you e-book and it has been very helpful. I’m wondering what kind of trucks that most of the businesses are using. Are they enclosed “box” trucks like a small moving van? Are they trucks with a metal bin with an open top? Do they operate like a dump truck? Lifts or ramps? What am I looking for when looking for a similar truck?

Are most companies measuring their loads from top to bottom or from front to back or a little bit of both? Thanks in advance for your help. R. Clarke

A: A good starting point is to add vertical space to an ordinary pickup truck bed using wood planks. See this picture:

I have seen landscaping companies add up to 6 feet of vertical fence in their pickup truck beds, essentially doubling their hauling capacity.

The next step up would an enclosed trailer. See:

You can find these used on craigslist for around $3000.

After that, you are looking at getting into a full time commercial truck. Your entry point would be a box truck like this:

I see these on craigslist for between 10,000 and $20,000.

Finally, once you have a well-established business, you will want to invest in a dump truck such as this:

These have a hydraulic lift to tilt the bed back and help dump the load. $30,000+.

As a general rule you should be estimating loads based on the percentage of your payload that they consume (from back to front).  See how this company is estimating their prices.

Q: I got your book and started advertising. I got my first call to do a job but I am trying to avoid going straight to the dump. They have a min fee of $40. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Rik

A: Don’t go straight to the dump on each job. Donate any working items to charity to lighten your load. Recycle all recyclables. Then store the remaining junk until you have a full payload for a dump run. Usually, you’ll go to the dump every 2.5 dump runs.

Q: Have you started your own junk hauling business?? What can I make on average with this business? Steven.

A: Yes, I used to operate a junk hauling business part time. I worked weekends and some evenings during the week. I averaged $50 cash per hour. Some jobs I made as much as $100 an hour (construction clean ups). On the best jobs, I got paid to haul away junk that was good enough to sell on craigslist (furniture and televisions usually). If you worked at it full time, you could make $65k annually. With more than one truck and a crew of 3, $100k+. These young junk haulers are now a millionaires: http://www.inc.com/30under30/2008/profile/1920-friedmansoliman.html

Q: So your program tells me step by step on what to do? I am really interested in this business. I noticed you said you USED to work part time. Did you stop doing this business? If it was so good why are you not still doing it if I may ask. I look forward to more insight. Steven.

A: Yes. It includes step by step directions on what to buy, how to advertise, how to haul, where to dump the junk, how to minimize your landfill costs, etc. It’s all explained here: How to start a junk hauling business. Obviously, you could learn almost all of this in a few hours by searching Google. The real value of the $25 ebook is that it includes a full color advertisement that you can post on craigslist, a website, and a video that shows you how to create your website and place it on Bing, Yahoo, Google, MerchantCircle, Yelp, Citysearch, and 8+ more websites where your customers are looking for junk haulers in your city. Doing the work is simple. Finding the customers is 95% of the game in the junk hauling business, and we show you the most direct path to new customers: the Internet. I make great money publishing small business startup books now, and don’t haul anymore, but if my publishing business failed, I’d definitely get back into the hauling business.

Q: Do you sell your book anywhere or do I have to order it online only? Crystal.

A: We only sell the ebook here on http://junk2profits.com. It’s not a physical book that we ship to you. You download it as an Adobe file immediately after completing the order form.

Q: Hi, I’m going to order your ebook is this a legit site? so far I am very satisfied with the fast response, I’ve been ripped off before ordering ebooks and they ended up sending me something that I can google myself. Will this source get me up and running in 24hours I am going broke and need to hustle asap thanks guys for the fast response. Dave.

A: Well, when you bought those ebooks, did they refund your money when you felt short changed? We can’t rip you off because PayPal enforces our 60 day guarantee. If you ask us for a refund and we refuse, they will enforce the refund and we could risk losing our PayPal recipient account.

Q: Hi. I saw your junk removal ebook……is this a business that can get saturated? I am planning on starting one in Columbus,Ohio………I am glad I found your ebook. Do you use the methods you talk about? Ron.

A: Hi Ron. It can get saturated in small cities. A small city can only support so many junk haulers. Columbus, however, is large enough that there’s enough people with enough junk in their homes and money in their pocket to pay someone to do their dirty work. There will always be customers for a new junk hauling business in a city the size of Columbus. I can’t guarantee that you could make a full time income immediately, but you could easily bring home $300 – $500 a week with an ad on Craigslist and a pickup truck. I don’t currently run a junk removal business, but I have used a Craigslist ad in the past to get some quick short term money.

Comment: Thanks so much for your ebooks! You guys are awesome. Ive started all kinds of businesses such as poop scooping and scrap metal. This one pays the most and i get a great workout. I still work full time for the local city DPW . I eventually want to leave there. For now im hauling on weekends and some evenings.

Thanks again!
